Chennai’s Full Autonomous Flying Cars in new era of air mobility

Chennai-based flying car manufacturer Vinata Aeromobility is gearing up to raise funding of US$1 million for the Initial Product development phase and US$10 million in the next three years to bring to fruition the company’s vision to revolutionize urban transportation and citing ventures like Joby Aviation and Archer attracting the attention of big names like Toyota and United Airlines.

By 2030, it is expected that 60% of the world’s population will be living in urban areas, and over 1.6 billion vehicles will be vying for space on the roads. While mobility will continue to be a prime area of concern for individuals, infrastructure will be unable to handle the demands, and a sustainable solution to transportation woes will need to emerge. This is where Vinata Aeromobility is stepping in with their Full Autonomous Flying Cars, said the company in a release on 17 Mar 2021.

A new era of urban air mobility is being envisaged with their concept-driven flying cars that are shaped with innovative design and outstanding performance, said Vinata Aeromobility which has given prime importance to safety in designing and manufacturing their futuristic cars.

Users will experience the ultimate level of personal transportation convenience with the faster, easier, and better use of technology.

With over 15 years of experience in new product development and manufacturing, Founder and CEO Yogesh Ramanathan channeled his love for cars and flights into this venture.

From personal transportation to air-taxis, flying cars are already being seen as the solution to many woes of urban living. While allowing cities to ease up on traffic on the roads, they are expected to save precious time lost on commutes and also cut down on carbon emission by as much as 47%.

Emergency medical aid and cargo transportation within cities will also see a massive transformation. It is estimated that since 2016, venture capitalists have invested to the tune of US$140 million per year in technology.

Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is expected to be a reality in the USA and Europe soon. Moreover, Boeing and Airbus have joined hands to make flying taxis a reality in Japan. Lockheed Martin and Uber are also gearing up for major strides in this direction.

Vinata Aeromobility’s Hybrid Powered Flying Cars are designed for solo travelers and will touch a cruise speed range of 100-120 km per hour. They will not only be safe and convenient, but they are also designed to be quiet and emission-free.

With aerodynamic design and luxurious feel, Vinata Aeromobility is focused on harnessing user excitement for this exciting new product that is all set to bring the future into the present.

With the current phase of investment of US$1 million, the company will be well on its way to take its place in the global race for domination of the urban skyscape. At the moment, the company’s focus is on launching its 15 kg cargo UAM and Initial Prototype of flying cars at CES 2022. CES showcases companies including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more. #technology #banking #funds #investment #innovation /fiinews.com
