GlobalLinker support for MSMEs

Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu has launched FIEO.GlobalLinker.com for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to facilitate and promote their exports.

The FIEO GlobalLinker is a digital platform for MSME exporters to digitise their businesses and join a global community of growing businesses.

Launching the platform on 17 April 2018, Prabhu said, “FIEO GlobalLinker addresses a number of elements and a commitment of this government like digitising exporters, supporting MSME and encouraging greater exports of products Made in India.

“I invite all exporters, those seeking to enter into exports and those supporting the efforts of exporters to create their free accounts and enhance India’s premier position in global markets.

“I also hope more exporters will engage on FIEO GlobalLinker and provide us their valued feedback so that FIEO may make it increasingly helpful in better managing and growing their business opportunities,” said the Minister.

At the core of FIEO GlobalLinker is a growing global network, currently comprising over 140,000 SME firms, who are seeking business collaboration and growth opportunities through the use oftheir electronic business cards and digital profiles created on the GlobalLinker platform.

Additionally, FIEO GlobalLinker offers exporters a range of features and benefits to grow their businesses:

• Business Opportunities – exporters will be enabled to find clients, suppliers and advisors using the strong search and review facilities of the platform. Exporters will also be empowered to create free e Commerce store for direct sales or for improved supply chain management;
