Work in progress on Gurugram development and Nespresso cafes, says Thakral
Singapore-listed Thakral Group expects to deepen its position in India’s drone ecosystem, while it is in the midst of mixed-use healthcare development in Gurugram and the expansion of its coffee-related outlets in main cities.
Announcing its 1Q 2026 financial results on 4 June 4, Thakral said it is advancing the planned 2.5 million square feet mixed-use healthcare-led development in Gurugram.
On 28 May 2026, the Group announced increase in its effective stake to 95.28% in the Gurugram mixed-use healthcare-led development through the completion of the acquisition for SGD93.9 million.

Thakral is also working on drone ecosystem under the “Make in India” initiatives through Bharat Skytech, that the Singapore-listed group is promoting, and Skylark Drones, a Bangalore-based company which makes enterprise drone solutions for Mining, Infrastructure & Utilities in India.
Bharat Skytech began drone component manufacturing in India in last month (May 2026), with regulatory certifications for product prototypes underway.
In South Asia, Thakral’s exclusive distributorship with Chinese-origin drones DJI continued to gain traction across the region. The Group plans to set up 20 to 30 DJI Drones stores across India and other South Asian countries over the next two to three years. The Group is also the exclusive distributor of DJI drones, drone accessories and audio-visual equipment in 7 countries in South Asia, including India. It is expanding its presence in agriculture and enterprise drones in India through its subsidiaries and investee companies.
The Group also continued to scale its coffee-based Nespresso operations through boutiques at Select Citywalk in New Delhi, Ambience Mall in Gurugram, and Jio World Drive in Mumbai, the Nespresso India ecommerce store, Amazon India, and partnerships with global hospitality brands including Hyatt, Conrad, Fairmont, and JW Marriott. The Group will also commence distribution of Nespresso products through Blinkit, India’s leading quick commerce platform with over 30 million weekly active users.
Thakral ended three-month on March 31, 2026 (1Q2026), saying adjusted attributable profit more than doubled to SGD3.3 million and a 47 per cent increase in revenue to SGS109 million.
