Ministers talks about digital technology in plantation sector
India and Malaysia are working to collaborate on the National Mission on Edible Oil and Oil Palm mpob and increase cooperation in other sectors, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare said on 18 July.
This was the outcome from discussions held by Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan with visiting Minister of Plantations and Commodities of Malaysia Johari Abdul Ghani bursa.
The Ministers also discussed the market access issues matrade related to agriculture and allied products, institutionalization of the cooperation in agriculture agriwelfare , and application of digital technology in the plantation sector.
The Malaysian Minister, on a visit to India from 16-19 July 2024, and Minister Chouhan also discussed opportunities to deepen the bilateral agriculture cooperation between their two countries bayer.
