200 business community leaders and society stalwarts attend Lokmat Global Economic Convention
Indian youths are working on the right path of progress and women are advancing in all aspects of economic development, says Dr Vijay Darda, Chairman, Lokmat Media Group.
“Our youths’ direction is on that right path (and) they are working hard but it takes time to develop any country,” said Dr Darda, a former Rajya Sabha member from 1998 to 2016.
Going forward, he also cautioned the country’s youths of challenges in building the economy especially the accelerated pace of artificial intelligence, education, real estate and other critical sectors.
He shared his thoughts with some 200 business community leaders and society stalwarts at the Lokmat Global Economic Convention held here on 28 Mar 2023.
“Our women are also advancing forward in all aspects of the economy, while our students have now become global corporate leaders,” said Dr Darda, adding that he is proud that women and youths of India were jointly taking the country forward and the convention would create a new momentum.
“I believe that one day Bharat will be Mecca-Medina for the world when it comes to getting educated and skilled manpower from the Indian institutions.”
Dr Darda called for more and more brainstorming on how to link the Indian economy with the world economy.
Dr Darda also gave reasons for hosting the convention in Singapore which has better economic policies and consumer lifestyle.
He shared the city state’s development that has taken place over a drawn-out period from a fishing village, calling it a model.
Highly-revered Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni also led the convention and shared his thoughts on maintaining a healthy life-style while India progresses to be a leader in the global economy.
