Nine sectors’ shipment to growth 16%
India’s goods exports will peak US$330 billion in 2018-19, supported by focused export promotion initiatives, sector-specific interventions and quick resolution of issues.
“India’s goods export will peak ata US$330 billion in 2018-19 which will be the highest ever,” Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu said on 7 Mar 2019.
Nine sectors – germs and jewellery, leather, textiles, engineering, electronics, chemicals, pharma, agriculture and marine products – are expected to achieve 16% growth in exports in 2018-19.
