Gadkari wants performance-oriented approach

The National Projects Construction Corporation (NPCC), which celebrated its 62 Foundation Day in Delhi on 10 Jan 2019, will build a Rs.24,000 crore township in Imphal.
NPCC, which has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, has work order worth Rs.12,000 crore for constructions for Railways.
In financial year 2017-18, NPCC has secured business of Rs.5,217 crores and has order book position of Rs.8,537 crore.
Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, noted NPCC progress during the celebration in Delhi.
Expressing confidence that NPCC would scale new heights in 2019, Gadkari stressed on the need of performance-oriented approach and fast-tracked decision-making in achieving success.
He said that NPCC has a very good track record and technological experience and has the potential of achieving greater success with hard work and positive attitude.
Gadkari added that even as resources and technology are important, construction companies like NPCC must also realize the importance of finishing projects in time to win the trust of its clients and earn more profit.
NPCC is schedule ‘B’ Central Public Sector Enterprise with the status of Miniratna: Category-I since November 2018. finews.com
