Seven-year Rs.6,000cr capex
India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has planned out a 200-developmental well programme for its onshore fields in Assam and responding to government’s target of 10% cut in crude oil imports by 2022.
ONGC Onshore Director S K Moitra said Rs.6,000 crore will be spent on the wells in Sivasagar and Charaideo district of Assam.
The wells would be drilled over the next seven years from 2018-19 and supports the North East Hydrocarbon Vision 2030. fiinews.com
