The strength of India’s Bio-Economy is estimated at US$42 billion, according to a book on the industry released this week by Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Y S Chowdary.
The 60-page India Biotech Handbook 2017, showcases the industry’s capacities and capabilities.
The industry is exhibiting under INDIA PAVILION at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) International Convention & Exhibition in San Diego.
Inaugurated by Chowdary, the Indian Pavilion emphasizes the “MAKE IN INDIA” with more than 30 start-ups, companies, state governments, biotech parks and research institutes are exhibiting at the India Pavilion.
The Minister will also highlights new opportunities for Indian start-up companies in Science & Technology.
It will boost the confidence of international stakeholders in India’s biotech sector.
