Seven agreements signed during Modi visit to Spain.
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has highlighted the scope for India and Spain to cooperate in infrastructure, railways and smart cities projects being implemented in India.
Seven agreements were exchanged between the two countries, covering subjects such as energy, security and civil aviation during Modi’s visit to Spain on 31 May 2017.
The Prime Minister also met with Spanish corporate chief executive officers and highlighted the immense potential for further growth of Spanish investments in India.
He named investment opportunities in sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, food processing, auto, chemicals and textiles.
The Prime Minister called Spanish participation in the Smart Cities initiative, and gave a broad overview of the economic reforms undertaken in India, including GST.
