Investors urged look at business and growth opportunities

India’s time is high and investors should look at India optimistically especially the business and growth opportunities, said Piyush Gupta, CEO & Director, Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) Group.

“I do think India’s time is nigh. People have been talking about a change in the last 2 or 3 years. I think in many ways a lot of what is going on in India has long lasting consequence and is sometimes underappreciated,” he told a business forum.

“I do believe that in the medium-term, business opportunities and growth opportunities are going to be quite compelling,” Press Trust of India quoted Gupta as saying at the second Emerging India Forum 2017.

“And therefore, for people whether it is FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) or even Indian money wanting to return home, this might be a good opportunity to look optimistically at the country,” he said.
