Harkness in South Korea
Bengalore’s Cinema Screen technology pioneer Harkness Screens™ installed a premium Clarus XC Screen at the Megabox Hanam auditorium in the recently opened Starfield Hanam shopping centre in South Korea.
The Clarus XC screen, measuring 22 x 11.8 meters, has been installed along with a flagship Barco DP4K-60L projector for exceptional cinema presentation.
The auditorium, with a seating capacity of approximately 400 seats, screened, the blockbuster Korean film ‘The Age of Shadows.’
The Clarus XC silver screen by Harkness Screens uses 4th generation screen technology to provide a wide viewing angle, greater uniformity of light, improved colour, and contrast in both 2D and polarised 3D formats. The technology incorporated in the manufacturing of the screen ensures there are no visible seams resulting in a smoother surface finish and deeper visual presentation for 3D content.
“Harkness Clarus 170 gives the most realistic colour and vivid image quality for our audiences allowing them to get immersed in movies naturally. Megabox will keep working with Harkness – a leading cinema technology company – to provide the best movie experiences to our audiences,” added Hong-Sik Jung, Technical Team Manager, Megabox. fii-news.com
