The demand for LLDPE in India is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.82% during 2019-2030 to reach 3,646 KTPA by 2030. It was 1,849 KTPA in 2018.

Backed by properties such as high tensile strength, superior toughness and enhanced puncture resistance, use of LLDPE is growing in various end-use industries such as packaging, agriculture, construction and automotive, says a ResearchAndMarkets’ “India LLDPE Comprehensive Techno-Commercial Market Analysis and Forecast, 2013-2030” report on 8 Apr 2019.

Moreover, LLDPE application is increasing in heavy-duty industrial bags, film applications (e.g. stretch cling film, silage film), high performance carrier bags, liquid paper board coatings, wire and cable, injection molding parts, pipes, industrial liners, elastic films, ice bags, bags for supplemental packaging and garbage bags.

All these factors are expected to positively impact the Indian LLDPE market during 2019-2030.
