Wi-fi at Nagercoil Junction Railway
Work has started on the Rs.3,618 crore ‘Doubling with Electrification’ projects covering 349-km in Kanniyakumari-Nagercoil-Thiruvananthapuram section.
The Central Government has sanctioned the entire Kanniyakumari – Thiruvananthapuram Rs.4,000 crore Rail development project.
Laying foundation stone for the project, Minister of State of Railways Rajen Gohain noted the Indian Railways’ continuous efforts to enhance facilities for passengers.
Gohain also inaugurated/dedicated Escalator facility, Wi-Fi services and 100% LED lighting facilities at Nagercoil Junction Railway station on 23 Jan 2018. fii-news.com
