Over 1 lakh MT waste processed through bio-mining
Karimnagar Smart City has implemented 50 projects worth Rs.1,117 crore, 14 of which, worth Rs.233 crore, are under implementation, Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar said in an update on the smart city developments in Telangana state https://mohua.gov.in/.

“These initiatives contribute to key areas such as smart mobility, water supply, sanitation, and social infrastructure,” he said, pointing out that the Karimnagar Smart City has multi-sectoral projects working towards enhancing the ease of living for the citizens https://smartcities.gov.in/.
The projects included Rs.480 crore Smart Mobility and Rs.402 crore Water Supply and Sanitation.
Over 1 lakh metric tons of waste has been processed under the bio-mining project, reflecting the city’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Further, he pointed out that Rs.22 crore was spent on development of Dr B.R. Ambedkar Stadium, Rs.12.35 crore was spent on multi-purpose school park and Rs.18 crore was invested on 24×7 Water Supply by introducing water distribution network in the Housing Board Colony, increasing efficiency and accessibility in water management for residents https://www.globaltenders.com/.
