Ultra seeks manufacturing partners
#Ultra Electronics Ltd is looking for partners with skill to manufacture its high-technology precision air and land systems in India.
“We want to transfer the capability of making those products in India and export to Europe and US which are our established markets,” said Ray Challis, Head of Sales and Marketing at #Aero India 2017, which was held in Bengaluru 14-18 February.
“We are looking to do more in this growing and developing market. We need to have a manufacturing facility in the next two to three years to support the growth we see in India,” he told fii-news.com.
“We have a distributor but we are looking for more partners in India from the manufacturing perspective,” said Challis.
Ultra Electronics has been supplying products to India since the 1960s to aircraft and helicopters.
It also makes high pressure clearer air generators used to eject weapons and provide training on the use of its products. fii-news.com
