High Efficiency Solar PV modules will be eligible for getting PLI
Letters of Award have been issued in April 2023 for setting up of 39,600 MW of fully or partially integrated solar PV module manufacturing units with an outlay of Rs.19,500 crore.
Updating parliament, the Minister for New & Renewable Energy and Power R K Singh said these projects were Under Tranche-II of Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for High Efficiency Solar PV modules.
The manufacturing units sanctioned under PLI scheme for High Efficiency Solar PV modules will be eligible for getting PLI on annual basis on manufacture and sale of High Efficiency Solar PV modules for 5 years from the actual date of commissioning or scheduled commissioning date, whichever is earlier, R.
