Display of defence tech portfolio in Chennai
Molecular Products from the United Kingdom will showcase its defence technology portfolio at DefExpo 2018 next week (11-14 April) at Chennai, joining world’s leading defence technologies.
The products includes: activated carbon filtration media for use in air purifying respirators; Sofnolime, the market leading CO2 absorbent trusted by defence divers; and oxygen generators that maintain O2 levels in submarines.
Being introduced at DefExpo is a new CO2 absorbent filter for use onboard submarines and the ROG, a handheld, emergency medical grade O2 supply for point of injury battlefield treatment.
The ROG is a solid oxygen system that gives immediate access to a potentially life saving oxygen supply.
Designed for pre-hospital casualty care in demanding environments, the ROG is an innovative development in medical technology that willhelp increase survivability of casualties in remote locations.
ROG TECHNOLOGY
In austere environments, the ROG enables patients to be oxygenated at the point of injury via a safe, reliable and non-explosive source.
Small and light enough to be carried in a medical bag, the ROG does not require any maintenance, electricity, mixing or filling.
Rugged in design, the ROG is portable, strong, durable and able to withstand robust use in rough terrain or confined spaces.
Unlike compressed medical oxygen cylinders, the ROG can be
exposed to extremes of temperatures, operated in any orientation
and has an extensive shelf life.
Unique to the ROG is its Cool TouchTM thermal management system.
Unlike any other product of its kind, the technology inside the ROG contains the heat, ensuring the unit stays at a safe temperature during use.
Molecular Products is a world leader in the design and manufacture of life critical devices for the treatment of
breathable gases.
Where there is a finite quantity of air, Molecular Products’ leading edge technologies will sustain human life independently, or collectively, to maintain a breathable environment.
Molecular Products’ solid oxygen systems portfolio includes the EO2-30 and MilSpec MPOG, used by NATO navies to maintain O2 levels in submarines, as well as the MineSpec MPOG used globally in mine rescue chambers.
From formulation through to manufacture, our exceptional ISO processes ensure our customers receive safe and high quality products every time.
Meet experts from Molecular Products at DefExpo 2018 in Chennai.
