LTEH to work on ONGC’s multiple subsea pipeline segments
Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has signed a six-year engineering, procurement and construction Framework Agreement with L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) Onshore as one of four EPC contractors to participate in Oman’s upcoming front-end engineering design and EPC projects over the agreement period.
LTEH said it is committed to supporting In-Country Value (ICV) development in Oman through opportunities for local suppliers, subcontractors and service providers, and the continued development of local capabilities.
Commenting on the development, E S Sathyanarayanan, Senior Vice President & Head – L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore, said on 31 July, “This Framework Agreement marks an important milestone in our long-standing association with Petroleum Development Oman. We look forward to supporting PDO’s development plans through safe, innovative and sustainable project delivery, while contributing to Oman’s long-term energy and economic growth objectives.”
L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore is one of India’s largest EPC businesses, delivering integrated Lump Sum Turnkey solutions across the upstream, midstream and downstream hydrocarbon sectors. Separately, LTEH Offshore has secured a batch of orders from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X) and Well Head Platforms Project off India’s west coast.
PRP-X involves engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of multiple subsea pipeline segments, along with associated modification works across ONGC’s offshore fields. The Well Head Platforms Project involves EPCIC of four Well Head Platforms.
