High Defence Committee discussed Strategic Partnership
A range of bilateral security and defence issues including priority areas for co-development and co-production of defence equipment were discussed by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh with the State Secretary, German Ministry of Defence, Jens Plötner, in New Delhi on 18 Nov.
They reaffirmed commitment to enhance military-to-military cooperation with a focus on developing defence ties as a key pillar of the Strategic Partnership between India and Germany during the India-Germany High Defence Committee meeting https://www.hcisingapore.gov.in/.
Co-chairing the meeting, they also exchanged views on the regional security situation and discussed intensifying bilateral exchanges including institution of military exercises http://mod.gov.in.
