Dexian proposes PIMIS for implementing projects
Odisha aims to add over 5,000 MW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, through the Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA), a dynamic institution under the Science & Technology Department.
To help OREDA manage the expected green projects, Dexian India has proposed an intelligent Project Management Information System (PMIS) that ensures:
• Milestone-Based Monitoring with visual dashboards across schemes https://www.commerce.gov.in/ ;
• Geo-tagged Implementation to monitor vendor compliance;
• Automated Alerts for delays, budget overruns, or policy deviations;
Dexian noted that OREDA manages hundreds of concurrent projects, from solar cold storage in Kandhamal to smart street lighting in Bhubaneswar. “Yet, the absence of real-time tracking impedes outcomes,” Dexian added on 21 June https://www.globaltenders.com/.
The system will feature an integrated Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that maps tasks to stakeholders, EPC vendors, district coordinators, and engineers, with traceable accountability, said Dexian which has formed a collaboration with OREDA.
Through its collaborative digital frameworks, Dexian empowers organizations to convert complexity into clarity. For OREDA, this means an end-to-end solution that is modular yet unified, secure yet scalable, and tech-driven yet citizen-focused https://ted.europa.eu/en/.
“When digital solutions align with grassroots governance, the result is not just efficiency, it is empowerment,” says Venkat Lakshminarasimha, Executive Director, DISC – Solutions – India & Middle East at Dexian.
“Odisha stands at the cusp of a renewable revolution. With its unwavering focus on equity, inclusion, and sustainability, OREDA is ready to lead the charge. But to do so, it needs a technology partner that brings more than code, it needs conviction,” he underlined http://mnre.gov.in.
Together, OREDA and Dexian can not only meet the 2030 renewable targets but redefine how citizens, governments, and clean energy coexist in a digitally empowered society, he said. fiinews.com
