8 states unified for India’s growth engine
Leading industrialists, including Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries), Kumar Mangalam Birla (Aditya Birla Group), and N. Chandrasekaran (Tata Sons) joined MDoNER Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia in a brainstorming session which aims to develop all eight states together and turn the North East Region (NER) as the country’s growth region.
The meetings, held 30 April, were part of the ongoing engagement ahead of the Investment Summit, “Rising Northeast Summit 2025”, scheduled for 23-24 May 2025 in Delhi Ministry of Development of North-East Region (MDoNER).

Statistical Advisor to MDoNER Dharmvir Jha presented key investment opportunities spanning all eight Northeastern states.
