Four semiconductor plants in progress to produce 7cr chips per day
With the objective to develop a vibrant semiconductor ecosystem, the Cabinet sansad.in/ has approved the Rs.3,300 crore proposal of Kaynes Semicon Pvt Ltd to setup a semiconductor unit in Sanand, Gujarat semiconductors .
The plant, approved on 2 Sept, will supply 60 lakh chips per day ( gitex ) to a wide variety of applications including industrial, automotive, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, telecom and mobile phones sbi .
The Karnataka-based Kaynes Technology announced last year the setting of up outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT) digitalasiahub .
