Power Ministry company incurred a capital ependiture of Rs.12,500 cr in FY24
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has acquired 10 Inter States Transmission Systems (ISTS) Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) subsidiaries with an estimated cost of approx. Rs.26,872 crores in FY24, under Tariff based competitive bidding http://powergrid.in .
It has also incurred a capital expenditure of Rs.12,500 crore during the year.
The company says it has also commissioned its 5 Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) subsidiaries i.e POWERGRID Ramgarh Transmission Limited, POWERGRID Bikaner Transmission System Limited, POWERGRID Meerut Simbhavali Transmission Limited, POWERGRID Gomti Yamuna Transmission Limited and POWERGRID Neemuch Transmission System Limited in FY24 http://powermin.nic.in .
At the end of FY24, the total transmission assets of POWERGRID and its subsidiaries stood at 177,699 circuit kilometres of transmission lines https://www.ge.com/ , 278 substations and 527,446 MVA of transformation capacity https://www.siemens.com/global/en.html .
