Rs.6,621.62cr allocated for Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh

In Arunachal Pradesh, he has sanctioned Rs.6,621.62 crore for the eight packages on National Highway-913, designated as the Frontier Highway, transitioning to an Intermediate Lane configuration using the EPC mode https://www.globaltenders.com/ .
This 265.49 km project is in Package 1, 3 & 5 covering the Huri-Taliha section, two packages addressing the Bile-Migging Section, Package 2 & 4 managing the Kharsang-Maio-Gandhigram-Vijaynagar section, and Package 1 focusing on the Bomdila-Nafra-Lada section.

In Andhra Pradesh, Rs.1,346.81 crore has been approved for the expansion of the existing 2 – Lane Paved Shoulder, spanning from the Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh border to Puttur (20.03 Km) on National Highway-716 https://ted.europa.eu/en/ .

Gadkari said this development aims to transform the specified stretch into a fully access-controlled corridor, playing a crucial role in linking the sacred cities of Tiruthani and Tirupathi.
In Jharkhand, Rs.292.65 crore has been approved under HAS mode for four-laning of Tower Chowk to Basukinath section of National Highway 114A in Dumka district.
There is a need to upgrade the existing 2-lane roads to four lanes to reduce congestion and contribute to the social and economic development of the area, he pointed out.
In Jammu & Kashmir, Rs.224.44 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of the Shopian Bypass on National Highway-444, transforming it into a 2- lane configuration with a paved shoulder. This 8.925-km development in the Shopian district will be executed in EPC Mode.
The highway in Shopian district, known as the “Apple bowl of the valley”, will facilitate swift transportation of produce to markets, he added.
In Odisha, Rs.374.17 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of a 3.5-km long 6-lane flyover at Ainthapalli junction and a 2-lane ROB (LHS) on NH-53 (formerly NH-6) in the Sambalpur district under EPC mode.
The proposed 6-lane flyover aims to alleviate heavy traffic congestion at Ainthapali Chowk. Additionally, the project incorporates the construction of a 2-lane ROB, previously excluded from the Teleibani-Sambalpur 4-lanning project on NH-53. Fiinews.com
