India-UAE work on Green Hydrogen Development-Investments
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has various kinds of agreements with foreign countries from time to time to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of renewable energy, Minister of Renewable Energy & Power R.K. Singh has said in an update to the Rajya Sabha on 14 Mar 2023.
Since 2022, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has signed the following Memorandums of Understanding, Joint Declarations of Intent and Letters of Intent:
A Letter of Intent (LoI) on New and Renewable Energy Technology cooperation was signed Australia’s Ministry of Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction on 15th February, 2022.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of Renewable Energy was signed with Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment on 29 April 2022.
A Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) on the Indo-German Green Hydrogen Task force was signed with Germany’s Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) 2 May 2022.
A Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) regarding Renewable Energy Partnership was signed with Germany’s Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on 2 May 2022.
The UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has on 13 Jan 2023 signed a MoU to promote discussion and cooperation in the Spectrum of Green Hydrogen Development and Investments in India and the Emirates. fiinews.com
