Anbarasan scouts for industries at Brno fair
Evektor, a Czech international aircraft company, is expected to start manufacturing from Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor, on invitation from the State Government.
Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises T M Anbarasan has extended the invitation to Evektor, which was founded in 1991 and has been active in the area of development and design of aircraft since 1992.
Evektor has 1,400 aircraft flying in more than 50 countries.
Anbarasan, accompanied by senior officials of the MSME department, has visited the manufacturing facility of Evektor, the Tamil Nadu Government said in a release on 5 Oct 2022.
He is promoting the TN Defence Industrial Corridor as part of India’s programmes to build defence industry manufacturing in the country. The UP Defence Industrial Corridor is the second dedicated industrial zone for development of indigenous defence sector.
The Minister attended the MSV International Engineering Fair held 4-7 Oct 2022 at Brno in Czech Republic.
