Gadkari stresses the importance of bio-LNG, Bio-CNG and Hydrogen for construction equipment
Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has called on Indian construction equipment manufacturing industry do research and give appropriate technology for the future as futuristic planning.
Addressing the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association’s (I-CEMA) Annual Session 2022, held 12 July 2022, he said the ministry will support in making of an organisation which can be qualitatively helpful for development of futuristic technology.
He underlined the importance of economics of viability technology and told I-CEMA members to concentrate on fuel efficiency.
Gadkari stressed on the importance of bio-LNG, Bio-CNG and Hydrogen as alternate fuels for cost saving and reduction in pollution.
Talking about innovation and electric vehicles, he said it is time to change and manufacturing of electric-powered heavy duty equipment used in construction and building works should be started.
The Minister also emphasized on skilled manpower, appropriate training and road safety for long term planning. fiinews.com
