Environment clearance also given to 3.3 MW cogeneration plant
Pune-based Alphalogic Techsys has received an Environment Clearance for its grain-based bio-ethanol plant in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, production from which is for oil marketing companies (OMCs).
Following the nod, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has also cleared the company’s 3.3 MW cogeneration plant for captive use by the ethanol plant which will process broken rice.
The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corp (MIDC) has allotted 17.141-acre site for the plant in Tadali Growth Centre, the BSE-listed company said on 22 June 2022.
Alphalogic Techsys is designed to produce 150,000 litres per day of bio-ethanol from the grain-based distillery for OMCs as part of the Government’s Ethanol Blending Programme. fiinews.com
