Jaunpur-Mirzapur highways to provide access to markets
Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has laid Foundation stone and Inaugurated the Rs.4,160 crore 232 km of National Highways in Jaunpur and Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh, which will facilitate access to markets for agricultural produce, local and other products.
Addressing the functions at the inauguration on 20 Dec 2021, Gadkari emphasized on infrastructure development for employment generation and economic prosperity.
“We are committed for the development of Uttar Pradesh and these road projects will boost the development of state, provide better connectivity in the region and will double the pace of development of the state.”
In Jaunpur Gadkari laid foundation stone for 3 national highway projects of 86 kms. These projects will cost Rs.1,123 crore.
In Mirzapur he inaugurated four national highways projects worth Rs.3,037 crore with total length of 146 kms. fiinews.com
