Goyal expects global investment
The Government of Dubai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for real estate development, industrial parks, IT towers, multipurpose towers, logistics, medical college, super specialty hospital and more in Jammu and Kashmir as the Indian Union Territories transversals on the development bandwagon.
The MoU was signed with the Jammu and Kashmir administration on 18 Oct 2021.
Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal highlighted the significance of the MoU with Dubai Government, saying the world has started to recognize the pace with which Jammu and Kashmir is traversing on the development bandwagon.
“This MoU gives out a strong signal to the entire world that the way India is transforming into a global power, Jammu and Kashmir is having a significant role into that as well,” he said.
“This MoU is a milestone after which the investment will pour in from entire globe and is set to give a big developmental push. Different entities from Dubai have shown keen interest in investment. Development has to be aspired on all fronts and we are on track,” said the Minister.
Goyal pointed out that the Indian Government’s recent industrial package of Rs.28,400 crore is a testimony towards ensured development. #investment #development #projects #tenders /fiinews.com
