Agri-telecom expert joins export focus agency
N. Ramesh, with experience of having worked in Agriculture and telecommunications fields, took charge as Deputy Managing Director of the Export-Import Bank of India (India Exim Bank) from 23 Nov 2020,
An officer of Indian Telecom Service from 1999 Batch, he served as Executive Director in National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd and as Director in Department of Commerce from 2016 to 2019, where he oversaw Agriculture, Export Inspection, Biotechnology, and Plantations Divisions.
N. Ramesh worked as Director (Marketing) at Marine Products Export Development Authority, Ministry of Commerce and Industry from 2010-2016, said Exim Bank, announcing the appointment.
In his professional journey, he has worked in the Department of Telecom in enforcement of licensing conditions and regulations, on all the telecom service providers and the BPO industry as well as with BSNL on development of mobile network and infrastructure.
Ramesh is a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore University and a Post Graduate in Public Policy and Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. #appointment #exports #IT #agriculture /fiinews.com
