NDB lends US$16.6bn to 55 projects
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has commended the contribution of New Development Bank (NDB) in funding the infrastructure development, which has positively impacted the development agenda of the member countries, including India.
NDB has approved 55 projects of member countries for an amount of US$16.6 billion, noted Sitharaman, applauding the Bank for having created a niche for itself.
The Minister congratulated NDB’s newly-elected President Marcos Troyjo from Brazil and newly-appointed Vice President and Chief Risk Officer Anil Kishora from India.
