Thakur says over 91,000 accounts covered
The Government has sanctioned Rs.20,466.94 crores of loans have been under the Stand-U-India Scheme for setting up greenfield enterprises in the manufacturing, services or the trading sectors by women and people from schedule caste/schedule tribes.
The scheme has covered over 91,000 accounts as of 10 March 2020, said

The Scheme, launched by the Government on 5 April 2016, facilitates bank loans between Rs.10 lakh and Rs.1 crore to at least one Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe borrower and at least one woman borrower, per bank branch of Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs).
It is similar to but distinct from Startup India. Both are enabler and beneficiary of other key Government schemes, such as Make in India, Industrial corridor, Dedicated Freight Corridor, Sagarmala, Bharatmala, UDAN-RCS, Digital India, BharatNet and UMANG. fiinews.com
