LCA showcased in exhibitions
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has responded to Request for Information (RFI) from overseas for supply of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) – Tejas, parliament was told on 11 Mar 2020.
But a formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) has not been received in order to process the Tejas export proposal, Minister of State for Defence, Shripad Naik said in a written reply to the house.
HAL has showcased by way of flying displays of Tejas at various foreign exhibitions. It has also given briefing about the platform to various foreign delegations who have visited HAL facilities.
HAL produces Tejas for the Indian Air Force and exports to friendly countries, he said. fiinews.com
