Approved: 19 National Highways

 

Bharatmala Pariyojana.

 

A total of 34,800 kms of NH length including 10,000 kms of residual NHDP stretches have been approved for development under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I at an estimated cost of Rs.535,000 crore.

So far, 225 projects having an aggregate length of about 9,613 kms have been appraised and approved under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I, Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari gave the update in a written reply to Rajya Sabha in a written reply on 8 July 2019.

Nineteen projects costing Rs.14,411 crore have been approved for construction as new National Highways in Rajasthan.

Twelve of these, costing Rs.8,885 crore, are in construction stage and remaining seven projects, amounting to Rs.5,526 crore, are ready for work commencement, he said. fiinews.com
