Company making in-roads in Europe

The Indian Register of Shipping (IRClass) is seeking growth opportunities in the European market, having established a strong presence in Asia and the Middle East.
It is now planning to target Europe, building on the recognition received from European Union in 2016, reported IRClass in its newsletter in June 2019.
It has offices in the UK, Greece, the Netherlands and Turkey as well as representative offices in Malta, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
IRClass said it is initially focusing on ferries and small vessels and has already won some business with ferry operators in the Greek market.
IRClass, which is currently Vice-Chair of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), believes in actively engaging with the industry stakeholders to provide services in line with the industry requirements.
