Power SEZ to be ready by 2022
Adani Power (Jharkhand) Ltd has received approval for possession of 222.68-hectare land for the Rs.14,000 crore, two 800-MW supercritical power plant to be ready by 2022 for export to Bangladesh.
In principle approval has also been given for 202.32-ha for the 425-ha for setting up sector specific Special Economic Zone in Godda district of Jharkhand.
The SEZ at villages of Motia, Mali and Gaighat, will include a water pipeline and power evacuation system.
It will be ready by the end of 2022. The company has signed power purchase agreement for supply of 100% power generated from the plant to Bangladesh. fiinews.com
