Acquired: 600-acre Bengaluru site
A Warburg Pincus floated company, Embassy Industrial Park (EPI), is investing Rs.288 crore on a 1.3 million sq ft warehousing facility on the outskirt of Bengaluru.
The US$250 million logistic platform floated by global equity firm Warburg Pincus and real estate developer Embassy Group for setting up industrial parks has acquired a 60-acre iste from real estate build DRA Projects.
The planned industrial park is strategically located along the Bengaluru-Chennai highway and close to State Industries Promotion Corp of Tamil Nadu Ltd.
EPI, which has properties in the North and is scaling up business rapidly, has already signed 500,000 sq ft of the new Bengaluru facility with Stellar Value Chains.
