Jharkhand’s 2,092-km roads for NHs
The National Highway Authority of India is finalizing a detailed project report (DPR) for the of NH-80 (new NH-33) between km 65 to km 190 in Bihar.
It would have four lanes and include Bhagalpur bypass, of which Kahalgaon-Mirza Chowki is a part, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways said Mansukh L Mandaviya in parliament on 13 Dec 2018.
Further, about 2,092 km length of State roads in Jharkhand have been approved “In-Principle” for their declaration as new NHs subject to outcome of their DPRs. The DPRs are being prepared.
These are roads connecting Madhupur-Loharjori, Bagodar, Saria, Dhanwar, Jamua, Chakai, Jasdeeh, Deoghar and Chatra as well as Teesri, Gawan, Satgawan, Gobindpur, Fatehpur Mod which have “In-Principle” approvals for declaration as new NHs subject to outcome of their DPRs.
The alignment of NH-333A has been extended from Godda upto junction with NH-133A near Pakur in the State via Suderpahari and Litipara. DPRs are being prepared. fiinews.com
