Project based on ASCE recommendation
Expression of Interest has been invited for Development of Personal Rapid Transit System (PRT) Delhi-Gurgaon Pilot Project Corridor.
The 12.30-km project, from 24.00-km at NH-8 (Delhi-Haryana Border); 33.50-km (Rajiv Chowk, Gurgaon) NH-248A Sohna Road, is to be undertaken on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.
This Expression of Interest has been invited as per the report/recommendation of the High Level Committee, said Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Mansukh Lal Mandavia.
The committee has recommended to follow Automated People Movers (APM) Standards prepared by American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) along with the general safety requirements, system safety principles, traffic control and protection, he said. fii-news.com
