MMRC works on car shed on the rail corridor
The central government has approved allocation of 40-acre land to Mumbai Metro Rail Master Plan, which is undertaking phase development of 146.50-km system for improving the overall public transport capacity of Mumbai.
A special purpose vehicle, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), is implementing the project which will include a car shed on the Dahisar (E) to Andheri (E) metro corridor.
The Cabinet approved on 23 August 2017 the transfer of 40 acres at RR station, Dahisar, from Airport Authority of India (AAI) to Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. fii-news.com
