The US$22.78bn development will cover integrated city
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) is to conduct a feasibility study of developing an integrated maritime city on Peninsula Malaysia’s Carey Island, off Port Klang.
The MoU for the US$22.78 billion mega development was signed with Malaysia’s Sime Darby Property Bhd and MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd.
A separate MoU was signed with MMC Corp to do feasibility of the Carey Island Port project as an extension of Port Klang, currently the eleventh busiest container port in the world.
Sime Darby will collaborate with APSEZ to study the feasibility of developing an integrated maritime city, which will support the Carey Island Port project.
