Come with manufacturing strategy

An industrialist has called on international manufacturing companies to work out strategy for entering the Indian market.

“You have to come and look at what’s available and chose what you want but lay out strategy for manufacturing,” said Aravind Melligeri, chairman and chief executive officer of #Aequs Inc.

“Foreign OEMs should come with proper strategy. They need to come with a clear strategy what they want to do and what they want to achieve in five to 10 years,” he said during Aero India 2017 held 14-18 February in Bengaluru.

He assured that there was a good level of capability on the mechanical side of manufacturing.

Aequs is expanding every quarter given the increasing demand for manufacturing sector.

“We expanding every quarter. We have grown close to five times in last two years in our revenue and going to grow by three times over the next three years,” said Melligeri of the business prospects.

The group has expanded through joint ventures with foreign partners and global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs),” he said.
