Aadyah’s research MoU
#Aadyah Aerospace Private Ltd CEO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with #Cranfield University for collaborative research.
“The initiative with Cranfield is in line with our vision to get into the latest state-of-the-art technology,” said Sunderarajan Varadan, chief executive officer of Aadyah, a start up in niche technology related to aerospace, aeronautics and defence.
“The MoU to promote collaborative research leading to solution on very niche areas,” he explained, highlighting mobile technologies, unmanned systems, as well as launches for space and satellite application.
“Aadyah is less than a year old but its focus is to ensure we have a very strong technology team for development work.
“We motivate employees by sending them to the best universities in the world for working on the defence system. The training includes even short-term research and full term courses,” Sunderarajan, an former naval aviation officer, told fii-news.com.
Aadyah’s long-term plan is to be a strategic partner for defence and space industry. “We would like to become a prime production partner with DRDO and ISRO agencies,” he said.
The company is in the seed funding round and is expecting close Rs.12-Rs.15 crore by April-May from within India.
“As much we would like to go for partnership abroad, we are not looking for strategic partners,” he said.
“There are companies we are talking to who are willing to transfer technology and help us design, development and manufacture in India,” he said. fii-news.com
