Hoffmann taps 500 SMEs
Germany’s Hoffmann Group aims to tap 500 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India over the next three years as part of its ongoing expansion.
The Munich-based conglomerate has already teamed up with some Indian SMEs seeking German engineering quality to be globally competitive.
Hoffmann’s big partners in India include Tata Motors and Bharat Forge.
“Our real game plan is to tap SMEs. That’s the day, I would say, we have succeeded in India,” Hoffman Group CEO Robert Blackburn told Deccan Herald.
Hoffmann Group Managing Director Asia Pacific and India, Pinaki Banerjee, added that Pune would be the first start point for joining Indian SMEs, followed by Delhi.
Hoffmann, which offers own premium brand GARANT, markets 70,000 quality tools from the world’s leading manufacturers. fii-news.com
