Samsung Pay heads for India
#Samsung Electronics’ mobile pay service, #Samsung Pay, is scheduled to expand its service coverage in India and Britain within the first half of this year as part of its global marketing strategy.
Samsung Electronics also plans to increase the number of Samsung Pay-compatible smartphones, reported #The Korea Economic Daily.
Samsung Pay is not just a simple means of payment but a service platform for everyday life, said Samsung Electronics.
Samsung Pay trial service was launched in Thailand and Malaysia in December 2016.
The company is offering Samsung Pay service in China, the United States, Spain, Singapore, Australia, and Brazil.
Samsung Pay service was embedded in the three types of the Galaxy A 2017 series which were unveiled on January 2.
In late December 2016, Samsung Electronics launched a traffic card service using Samsung Pay in China’s #Beijing and #Shanghai.
Users can take advantage of Samsung Pay as a traffic card when taking buses or subway. In Shanghai, Samsung Pay also can be used to pay for ferry boats, according to the report. fii-news.com
