TechM’s Saudi venture
Tech Mahindra has formed a majority-owned joint venture with Al Fozan Group to focus on business opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
Named Tech Mahindra Arabia, the JV will work towards localising technologies and building local services thus adding value to the Kingdom’s economy, managing director and chief executive C.P. Gurnani said in a statement.
The JV will set up a delivery centre in AL Khobar.
Currently, Tech Mahindra has 30 active customers in Saudi Arabia, including heavyweight energy groups.
Al Fozan Group has a presence retail, manufacturing, real estate and trading activities in the Kingdom as well as Gulf countries. fii-news.com
