Invest in Vietnam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reassured his support for Indian investors to do business in Viet Nam during a meeting with visiting #National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan in New Delhi on Dec 11.
Modi has said during his September 2016 visit to Vietnam that Indian businesses were impressed with the investment environment in the Southeast Asian country.
He described the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and India as a treasure for the future generations to nurture and develop to a new height.
#Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan urged the two sides to accelerate measures to create a breakthrough in two-way trade, which is expected to hit US$15 billion by 2020.
Ngan also assured of Vietnam’s support and encouragement to Indian oil and gas companies to invest in the new oil field discovered in the Vietnamese continental shelf.
She proposed study cooperation opportunities between Indian energy companies and the #Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.
She also would like to see Vietnamese businesses joining potential projects in India and in partnership with Indian businesses in the third country. fii-news.com
