Novaris plans facility

Australia’s Novaris Pty Ltd plans to produce its signal and power protection products in India through its partner Process Technique Electronic Ltd based in Bengaluru in about two years.

“Within the next couple of years, we are looking at setting up a joint venture production facility to produce signal and power protection products in India,” said Tristan King, Product Design and Testing Engineer at the Tasmania-based Novaris.

“It will be a joint venture between Novaris and Technique,” he said.

The two companies had formed a marketing partnership a year ago.

“These products will be under the ‘Made in India’ initiative and promote knowledge and design work in the country,” he pointed out.

The products will be for oil & gas, power, rail and other infrastructure projects.

“We are seeing a big investment in the infrastructure projects including rails and metros. We are also seeing technology-advances,” he said. fii-news.com
